“D-1 Happy Birthday” is a packaging design project that is supported with a flipbook to indicate the dynamic weather that took place in Delhi in the summer of 2021. Here, wanting to explore and push the potential of these high-contrast brush strokes I created a scented candle packaging that emphasizes the aspect of a scent that will constantly make you want to make a wish. Just like you want to keep on making wishes on your birthday. D-1 stands for one day before, and because of the idea of constantly wanting to make a wish thanks to the beautiful scent present in this candle, you feel like your birthday is just around the corner.
